Instant “Like”

Have you ever thought about the meaning of friendship? Does it come with different levels?

I was listening to someone talking about their Facebook page. She said, “Just click “Like” and we’ll be instant friends.” Is that all it takes, a click of a button to be friends? How many care to know who clicked that button? How many care to get to know them?

Has the meaning of being friends change?

Beginnings and Endings

Have you ever experienced the beginning and ending of something? Of course you have. We all have.

Which is more memorable, the beginning of something (perhaps a relationship, new job, moving into your first place, etc.) or the ending of it? You know, a break-up, the loss of a job, moving out of your first place, etc.

When you read a book, watch a TV show/movie, or listen to a song, do you get excited at the start of one of these things or at the finish?

Memories are beautiful things, sometimes.

Can I push your buttons?

Have you ever had anyone who really knew how to work your nerves?

“Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.” Numbers 12 vs 3

Moses was given the task of leading the Children of Israel out of Egypt and into the Promise Land, but there was a snag, he never made it into that land. Yep, his temper, that anger that was aroused by the actions of some of the people being led caused him his entrance. But he was meek wasn’t he?

Which brings me to why I’m writing this, are there certain people, no matter who they are, that know just what buttons to push to make us angry? Yes, yes, we make the ultimate decision(s) on whether to become angry or not, but do some people help us to reach that point?

Or is it an excuse for some people losing their temper?

Morning colors?

Have you ever seen a sunrise? It’s like brush strokes of colors greeting you in the morning. A thing of splendid beauty. Don’t you think?
